November 2024 Kitsap Providers Breakfast

We have a special treat for our November Kitsap Providers Breakfast. Olimpia Bor and Sheila Perrault of Blue Nest Home will be hosting us on Tuesday November 19th, 8:30 to 10:00 am at their consignment store/offices on 6610 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, WA. They have a holiday gift special for everyone who attends:

Last month we returned to our friends at Baypointe Senior Living, co-hosted by Jessica Hull, Haley Fitzgerald and Generations Home Care (our pal and breakfaster Ben Douglas is the operations manager in Kitsap County). Ben’s associate, Jake Gamble, was scheduled as the featured speaker presenting on the topic of dementia. Unfortunately, Jake was ill and unable to attend. We look forward to re-scheduling in the future. Many thanks to Jake for acting prudently and not risking bringing infection inside our senior communities.

However, in my opinion our Plan B was at least as fulfilling. We took the time available to allow our attendees to drill down more closely into what was special about their services. We then asked people to connect with someone in the room that they hadn’t connected with much before and conduct a one-on-one chat. We had enough time for two such chats. At the end, we asked everyone to briefly tell the room what we had learned.

It was Great! I learned a lot and got to know friends more closely. Thanks to each one of you for making it a special meeting. We may do that more.
