After recognizing the gap in resources around seniors and long-term care. Jim's personal experience with his parents left him with an idea to help others while using his real estate background. Since 1974, Jim has been involved in real estate development, finance, construction, marketing, sales and leasing. Jim has successfully raised equity capital, structured complex financing as a lender and a borrower, owned and operated companies, developed, leased, bought and sold commercial properties as a principal and a broker. This depth of experience enables him to see his client’s needs in a unique manner because he likely has traveled in their shoes. Jim has sold over 600 homes in his career and has helped dozens of families as they transition their loved one to a higher level of care. Jim is a Certified Senior Transition Specialist with Mom's House . The Mom’s House Senior Transition Specialist certification makes up a nationwide network of trained individuals. Training includes tools to utilize when working with a senior that can help with the emotional and financial stress that may come up, along with tools to assist families in crisis. Jim also has obtained a SRES (Senior Real Estate Services) certification from the National Association of Realtors.
