January 2025 Kitsap Providers Breakfast

Hello Friend,

We begin a new year for the Kitsap Providers Breakfast. We meet at Bonaventure Park Vista, 2944 SE Lund Ave. | Port Orchard, WA 98366. We start at 8:30 am and will conclude at 10:00 am.

Jake Gamble, CEO of Generations Home Care will be giving a presentation about successful communication with family members suffering from dementia. I understand Jake has some executive level experience in operating a dementia care community and has deep insight into this important but stressful experience.

Our own Ben Douglas of Generations Home Care along with Jamie Sage of Envision Hospice and Lois Jasmer of Cascade Living Group have stepped up to help make our Kitsap Providers Breakfast work even better for our breakfasters and the seniors we all serve. Ben will spend a few minutes introducing some ideas to accomplish this in 2025 including ways to accommodate others who might want to contribute their talent and time toward this goal. I am grateful to Ben, Jamie and Lois for their leadership.

The December Kitsap Providers Breakfast met at The Willows in Bremerton on Tuesday, December 17th. Lisa Marshall, director of sales and marketing, Lois Jasmer and the rest of their team knocked it out of the park with their presentation of the food.

She gave us perspectives on the topic of vertigo and fall risk. As a physical therapist she described a number of successful treatments that I had not heard of before.
